second favorite CA title, but alas between rome remastered and the new shogun 2 i cannot support this company nor can i suggest it, removing over a decades worth of modding and giving the community the middle finger while asking for 25$ is a disgrace, people can defend it all they want your paying for what should have been an update and CA is going against their own words with how they wanted to "restore older titles...

It forces you to update to the unwanted, unbalanced, mod and game breaking Pantheon 'patch' if you want to play it. It's a 10 year old game let us play in peace you waste of wages

This is one of my most played games of all time for a reason. There is so much diversity in strategy, culture, builds, armies, and a huge map to conquer. I grew up going to latin classes and translating the Commentarii de Bello Gallico among other things. It is very fun to conquer the barbarian tribes in order to bring peace to Rome's borders and pacify her enemies. This is where CA began to get even greedier than...

Like many older TW games nowadays, Rome 2 is just very unstable and trying to play mods with friends is torture

CA is breaking all of the saves and Mods by updating the game constantly with BS that no one asked for or wants. come on CA if you want to change the game so much like you are doing then just make a Rome 2 remaster or Complete Edition already and leave Rome 2 alone. I don't think many of the Rome 2 players including myself wanted 10 years to have Stat changes come to the game and have our mods being completely...
