This is a better racer than most. Nuance of grip with tires, weather, and fuel weight. Carrying speed thru turns feels better than most arcade-racers. Its simplified enough to be more fun than a sim. This one strikes the perfect balance of "simcade" in a simplified package. I wish I'd praised it sooner.

Unplayable trash—unbalanced and simply terrible. Even in a best-case scenario with a perfectly tuned setup, you’ll still lag behind your opponent; their car is faster and more agile in the corners, and if you so much as clip them—even by a single pixel—you get sent flying into the air. You always start at the back of the pack; sure, that would be fine if there were relevant power-ups to help you deal with it, but...

Great game. I expected this would be something I played for a few hours and moved on. But I beat it and probably will play it again some time. I have always thought it would be cool to have a race game that progressed you through time, rather than just playing the current season on repeat. Only thing that bothered me was in the last two decades, I started off good but then in the last few races it would handicap...

This game is really fun and it has a great single-player career mode that will last you a good while if you try to go for 100% completion without feeling like a chore. It works perfectly on the Steam Deck OLED and runs amazing at 90 FPS. I like the style, feel and handling of NSGP and love how the tracks are represented. But by reading forum posts in the unity community i found out that this absolute legend behind this game was using wheel colliders in their native form, which is absolutely mindblowing considering how well the cars behave in NSGP. Everybody who ever tried to create driveable cars in unity with wheel colliders will understand :)

Man, this is BARELY a no vote, and it's so close close because there's so much I love, but AI and gameplay polish fail it in the end.
