Fallout 3 is excellent. With mods, it continues to have replayability. You should absolutely buy and play it on a different platform. Not Steam. The moment you get a game working with the mods you want, Steam will push an update that breaks your mods so they can add a sticker pack or something. There is no opt out for these updates. TL; DR: I bought the "Fallout 3 - GOTY" on GOG instead. It worked perfectly immediately after installation. And I could play the regular English version instead of just the German one. --- Could not start the game. Could not get past the launcher. Only got the German version. Could not switch language.

A game that means a lot to me, my mom gave me this in 2013 for my birthday and Ive loved it ever since. Dark and gritty atmosphere with a variety of weapons and enemies. May not be the best Fallout quality wise but its my favorite because it means so much to me.
