I really like VR games with innovative control methods and VRosty is definitely one of them! It plays a bit like a VR platformer in the style of Moss, but instead of controling your snowman with the joysticks, you play with it like a string puppet. Those are also knows as Marionettes, so this seems very appropriate for a jump'n'run. At any rate, you stay close to Vrosty most of the time and make him jump by twitching...

Got this game real cheap on sale, no complaints. It has an innovative control scheme, feels like controlling a marionette puppet or something. It's a simple platformer with progressively more challenging, but short levels. Good variety so far.

NOTE: REVIEW MODIFIED AFTER HOURS OF PLAY. I finished the game, both bad & good ending. It's a platform game with simple but well-made graphics, and a somewhat neutral but likeable protagonist. The control system is particular: to have semi-direct control of the protagonist you have to constantly hold down a button that hooks him to your hand, and to jump you have to move your hand upwards. Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. VRosty is a casual VR platformer/puzzle with unique puppeteering controls. It is fun to play, but quite short, took me ~90 minutes to unlock the good ending. VRosty is a paid VR puppet platforming game. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Was cute and fun for a while. Maybe buy, if you like platforming games in VR. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. ViVE VR curator group

I played this game for 55 minutes and it gave me a stroke. It is more frustrating than playing triple A games.

This is a quest game on Steam. My 4090 laughs at my Index at 144hz which laughs at my 16 core CPU which then guffaws at my 64MB of dediwated wam. There's only six flakes of snow per level because XR2 would melt faster than a snowman in hell if it actually rendered a believable blizzard. It's on an island because draw distance isn't a thing on Quest 2. The fires volumetric effects make it look less cosy than Mr...

Don't let this melt away❕ This game is creative, charming, casual, clever, and yes, cool. It does get harder as you go, and does get close to frustrating in a few spots, but not for too long. It's not perfect, and I did have to take a break due to looking at the floor too much. But overall, it's a good game and DEFINITELY worth the $12 USD asking price.
