The Executive - Movie Industry Tycoon

It's a decent game, but Hollywood Animal is much deeper. Within 6 hours I've already achieved half the goals and it could've been more if I would've tried. After 3 or so hours it gets very grindy.

It's a fun enough game. It isn't super deep and you tend to run out of things to futz with after a certain point, but it is fairly fun for what it is. It's a lot like Game Dev Tycoon but the research system doesn't feel too grating. The fact you can work on multiple movies at once is a massive step up from others of the Tycoon genre where you have to do things one at a time. The ancilliary market also propping up...

It's fun, I would love to see where the game goes from here, it's playable, but easy, and I find the premium features more annoying than the training to be honest. As well as probably a how-to guide to introduce one to how and what conditiosn trigger them. It is actually relatively easy initially, of course, and then it gets harder, and like really, this could go to much bigger in terms of that, budget, size but also...

Overall the game gets a thumbs up from me, there a few QoL things I hope they change -Give more information about your franchises and films in your film library -Add more starting location options -More Themes -More Genres Gameplay itself is about scaling and management. Great game! Very much in the style of Game Dev Tycoon but just a bit more complex. The only thing that bugs me is that I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a spin-off. On the other side I am able to do infinite prequels even though the game's tool tip says you can only do one per franchise :P
