I've tried to play this game multiple times, but it suffers from terrible gameplay. Death comes very easy, camera angle shifts at the worst time and feels like it's done intentionally to get you killed.

This game is absolutely bad ass. Gabriel is a bad ass. The voice acting is bad ass. The musical score is bad ass. The Narration by Sir Patrick Stewart is bad ass. The level design is bad ass. The action is bad ass. The enemies and bosses are bad ass. PLAY THIS GAME!

Beautiful game, amazing bosses. horrible mechanics. timing of catches are awful. could not catch the purple crystal for 3 hours and rage quit.

I played this first on Xbox 360, it was a beautiful game then, and it still holds up on PC. Very rich story, fun game play, over all I still liked it.

The game could be good, but turn into a frustration to play with a controller. Some bugs: - When the camera changes position sometimes the controller stuck walking ( its amazing have this bug in the swamp) - when you try walk to the sides with WASD works normal but with the controller sometimes to the sides the toon just walk (you will love fight bosses or better try to jump some pit with this) If have older games...

I had a pretty consistent like/dislike relationship with this game. The cinematics, graphics, music, and storytelling are easily the strongest parts of the experience — they’re what kept me invested and ultimately motivated me to finish. Really good game with nice levels and bosses. Ofcourse is has gothic settings, vampires, monsters, dark fantasy, and all that classic Castlevania stuff! However, the mechanics are terrible and on some levels it really difficult to complete the trails!
