UPDATE 1.2: New Achievements, Fresh DNA Upgrade, Sound Design Enhancements

38 New Achievements First off, we added some fun trophies we thought would be cool: clearing a level without taking damage, surviving five minutes in survival mode, and so on. Second, there’s now an achievement for every unlockable upgrade—whether it’s something you buy with DNA points or a new starting trait set for Slime. We also figured Steam’s achievement system is a great way to let players know they’ve unlocked something fresh in-game! A new DNA upgrade Not This Time: Upon taking lethal damage, Slime briefly gains invincibility. One more clutch upgrade to help you scrape through a tough level at the last moment. Hope you dig the upgrade's icon.👇 I mean, it's called "Not This Time," so... Other Changes • Revamped UI sounds. Hopefully, you’ll love the way menus click and clack now!

• Added camera shake for certain events. But hey, no worries—there’s a toggle in the settings if shaking ain’t your thing. • Reworked the settings menu and added credits with names of puny humans from the dev and publishing teams. • Since you've been asking, we've made tag filters pop more visually in the deck builder. Fun little action roguelite. Not very feature rich, but the art more than makes up for it. I would recommend it. pros: Beautiful art, fun power-ups, great animations cons: There isn't a whole lot more in hour 20 than there is in hour 2

Definitely a unique take on the genre! It does not conform to your "typical survivor-like" rules - not really. It has a certain style you get used to, and until you find a good combination to break the game, it might feel quite tough. It definitely does something interesting with level progression - when each new level is different, and might require adjusting your strategy - so it keeps things fresh. That said......

Got it on sale for 1.87 dollarydoos. Can't complain with that. Typical roguelite in the very cool Despot's Game universe. Great to kill some time :D

A Vampire Survivors in a cuter/slime-y outfit. BUT one of the most important differences I personally think is that Slime 3K focuses more on the "effects" or "performance" of weapons and passives when it comes to battle, instead of just how powerful they are. There's a huge variety of them, and each one feels very theatrical. Seeing them all combo together and fire off every few seconds in neon colors is so...
