I hate this game. The inventory system, sanity management and a degree of interactivity with the world have all been removed. Most objects can't be moved, most doors are locked. It constantly crashes during loading screens (which resumes the save at the beginning of the prior chapter). Performance is awful. It's slower and more atmospheric than Amnesia, closer to a dark industrial nightmare than a survival game. There's barely any inventory management or puzzling here, so if you came for that, you'll be disappointed. It's shorter and simpler than the first game, but it also delivers, just in a different way. It's worth stepping into it, but don't expect the same style of gameplay as The Dark Descent.

I didn't mind the lack of interaction or the anemic puzzles or even the overwritten dialogue, I simply cannot recommend it because it could barely run. It crashed between every level transition and half the time while saving or loading. There is a NoSteam.exe in the game folder that works better, but the fact that you have to dig to find it to make the game work should say enough.
