Oof, this one is ROUGH. Barely works on my computer, controls are awful, menus are broken, the screen keeps flashing constantly... I played like three minutes and my head is throbbing. Not even worth the $1 I paid for it. Hard pass.

A real hidden gem, there's lots to enjoy here with great feeling controls, pretty visuals, a well written story, and plenty of customization and build possibilities. You are getting a lot with how little the developers are asking for.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. Take the most basic concept of a 2D arcade-style space shooter, and then make it perfect in every single way, and you get Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages, plus the lore is good enough to be a book or series. You can tell that a lot of love, passion, talent, and intelligence went into this game.

Hands down one of the best games I have ever played. Very fun story, and combat/customization of ships is top-tier. So much fun building your ship and making it battle the way you want.

Ring Runner follows FTL into the illusive zone of flawless indie game glory. It is almost criminal that it took this game as long as it did to get on Steam.
