I don't mind losing because my run wasn't blessed by RNGesus, but when the mechanics of the game bug out and cost you a good run, it makes it feel pointless to play.

As a fan of roguelites, and games like balatro, this one just doesn't hit the mark for me. It really feels like they want you to just throw everything and the kitchen sink onto your board with no sense of direction simply because there is none. As I unlocked triggers and drafts to use I started to notice the ones that granted me victory in the early levels stopped appearing. The starting packs mean nothing because...

Got it from Humble on a Bundle (Hah) and thought this would be a game for me. Played it on my steam deck and while it played well I got bored pretty fast. I didn’t like the structure of it and the repetitive aspect didn't hook me. The game has far too many options which means synergies are a lot harder to get and leads to less feelings of skill and more of luck.

It's not very fun until you got the screen full of numbers! strategically place the nodes drop the ball slowly building up and watch miracle numbers appear. that's mostly the game. and it's very addictive. also low stake since you don't have to pay real money (or earn). this could help scratch the gambling itch a bit.
