I never really got to play this game, before Games for Windows Live was discontinued by Microsoft. UNTIL I found out that you can still login and play! This game should not be sold any longer. It REQUIRES GFWL to do ANYTHING which no longer exists.. So.. no multiplayer, no co-op.. no single player.. nothing. Go buy some candy with your dollar instead, because you'll get no use with it here.

Cant even play this, live went down and this was only a multiplayer game... not worth a dollar. This honestly needs to be taken down from steam, there is no reason why this should still be up.

Mostly MP with a sort of bot assault mode that can be played single player. It was hard to get a game going even when the game was newer, and it's completely empty now. Also has GFWL, which will be shut down soon. Another dead MP game from which to STAY AWAY.

I wouldn’t recommend this game. Not because it’s bad – on the contrary, it looks great and I reckon it must be good. The problem is that there’s NO ONE playing it, so it becomes pointless – which is a shame.

How Kujo Recommend Blacklight: Tango Down? -- Ignore the people saying it doesn't work. Just download the Games for Windows Client, create a GFWL account when you enter the game, quit when it prompts for an update, let the service update, then enter the game again and it'll play just fine. Seeing this game just makes me bitter. I bought it in 2010 for full price, and literally only was able to play 1 or 2 games because there were no players and no AI, and no refunds at that period in time of course. Perhaps it got better or is somewhat playable now.

unfortunately for now, I can not recommend this game as gfwl is about to brick it. gfwl is pulling the plug soon so, I would go with another game that has the customization. I love this game, but dont wast your money, its not worth havint a dead library entry

As a huge fan of Blacklight Retrobution the chance to play a game in this world again is such a gift. There are some issues getting it started but the work is well worth it I just hope we can over time work to build the blacklight Tango Down community enough to get lots of people in games ^-^
