Probably the quirkiest offering in recent years, a girl detectives mystery story set in the 1920s, presented as a board game with challenges in the form of card-based minigames. Utterly charming!

It has some genuinely interesting style, and a very pleasant sort of oddball strangeness, but it drags it out far, far too long and wears out its welcome. By the time I finished the story I was thoroughly sick of it, and I only persisted to see how everything would end. Note that despite the style, this isn't at all a board game. It's a stylized RPG.

This is one of the most unique (and addictive and fun) games I have played. The mixture of minigames, rpg party building, and board game layout are fun, but what makes it most fascinating is the roaring twenties theme and the strong, humourous, surprisingly dark narrative. This is a really well written game. I also give it lots of points for a diverse and female-centred cast; I actually can't think of another game...

When you play this game, all your Call of Dudebro friends will ask you why you're playing a game about high school girls. They might even make some sort of lolicon joke. This is because they are boys and you are a man. A man can play a game about high school girls without feeling his masculinity is threatened.

It's really cool and interesting talking with people like in the 1920's. I don't know how accurate it is -but it's fun. The game has charm but overall I can't really recommend it unless it's on a really good sale and you don't care about the following cons: First off to navigate the map you need to put your mouse to the edge of it and wait while it scrolls to the appropriate area. Cute and unique design, but under that it's four minigames over and over and they're grueling. Then I read the top review (with the plot spoilers) and I'm glad I didn't force myself through hours of plodding, repetitive minigames just for that.

Great game. Oddly gripping story that goes from "Ye Olde 1950s Melodrama, Yawn," to, "OMGWTFDidThatJustHappen?" in about 5 seconds. This game is styled as an old-school board game. A gang of young girls runs around school (and town) trying to solve a mystery. The play consists of a series of encounters, each of which prompts a minigame between one of your girls and the opponent. I did not have fun playing this game and would not recommend it. The controls are awkward, the minigames are unintuitive, and the plot is boring.

Well, I'm pretty disappointed in this game, considering the price of $19.99. I LOVE board games, and I thought this one sounded great! I ignored the other reviews, thinking "those people don't love board games as much as I do. And this one has smart girls? It sounds AWESOME!!! And mini-games are always a fun little challenge."
