So much nostalgia. This was one of my favorite adventure games when I was younger, and the reason why I am obsessed with survival games now (different genre, similar vibes). Worth playing if you like older puzzle games or if you have happy memories of playing it a few decades ago.

it's tedious! i feel like i missed a fair share of game content and puzzles, but i don't want to replay. my mouse was sooo slow at times... and options for solving puzzles were confusing. no sorting of the inventory drived me mad. i don't even know how i finished, felt too fast. I like puzzle games. They can look terrible, but if they have a compelling narration - i'm in love. No comprehensive story here, besides...

A classic from another time, a standout in point-&-click adventure games, and an all-around great product! Some of the voice-acting is spotty, but that often just adds to the fun. Even the illustrations they use to cut corners & avoid rendering 3D cutscenes are artistically inspired & charming (and makes fanart that much easier to make, hehe). Overall, a win for both gamers & lovers of public domain fanfiction...
