Falcon returns home

Falcon has officially returned to MicroProse's line-up (you can read more at "MicroProse is back on the Falcon series"), and as part of this new era we've made a few changes to the classic Falcon packages. For Falcon AT we have added our classic games launcher, where you can comfortably change different options for a more accurate or nostalgic experience, including the emulated machine speed. We are also working on releasing a proper digital version of the original manual, so stay tuned! We hope you enjoy these improvements as much as we did making them! We plan to continue improving the experience, so let us know if you have any feedback.

An iconic, classic flight sim. Steam version. Unplayable. Too fast and no command list. Easy enough for the publisher to fix though... --/o\-- SPEED --/o\-- It needs to run at the correct speed. The DOSBOX clock is set at 3000hz, which may look right on paper, but the sim runs at a fantastically unplayable tempo. I get it, they calculated that about 40fps would be nice... but the sim was designed to run at...

Aaa.. yes. I have had and played this game when I was 8 year old. Really needs to have a good PC to play this game sooo many years ago and I got killed a lot. As a dosbox game that released on 1988 It had amazing graphics and details at the time but it wasn't that big of hit because of tough control, and high spec recommendation. So 28 years later I have just got this game on steam and I have tried to replay it....

Not as good as Falcon 3.0. Obviously when this game came out it was great, but then Falcon 3.0 came out and honestly that game is just *vastly* better. Dynamic campaign, nicely drawn graphics, and a very cohesive learning curve make that a much better game. I'm judging it by period-accurate standards in this regard. Hell, I'd probably rate Microprose F-15 Strike Eagle II to be a better game. It also does not really...
