This wants to grab more than it should. The controls are clunky. It is a first-person view, but similarly to Myst, you can't move freely; you just jump around. This means finding stuff is really hard and clunky. Voice acting doesn't really help much. It feels like they just read their line and are not acting with them.

It's a pretty good adventure game with a very compelling story, and with a very clever inventory system, and solid puzzles. It has a lot of interactivity with the world around being able of making use of different contraptions which it's always great. Recommended!

A strange, ambitious game from the same developers as SafeCracker: The Ultimate Puzzle and Return to Mysterious Island. It's far better than SafeCracker, you have handful of character you interact with and can even see your own character which makes it feel more alive than a lonely with practically no direction. As far as point and click games go, I enjoyed it. While the plot was a little... contrived, I did like the theming. Good: For the most part the puzzles were enjoyable. An absolute gem of a find. It hurts me to give this a thumbs-down because this game was 95% of the way to being wonderful, but it completely face-planted at the ending. Recommended with reservations - this is a decent game, but it didn't capture me, mainly because I'm not into astronomy and the pace is slow since I got stuck a lot. Overall, The Last Prophecy isn’t a top tier adventure game, but it’s a solid, competent one a good average game. The modest budget is obvious, yet there’s still creativity and care behind it.
