As someone who played a ton of Master of Orion 2, I honestly didn't expect to like this one as much as I do. It's definitely a bit slower than MoO2 and takes a different approach. You can't just rush everything with your fleet and expect to win. Master of Orion is a really enjoyable space strategy game and one that I still wish had received more long-term development. The core gameplay is solid, the presentation is great, and the combination of exploration, colonization, diplomacy, research, fleet building, and warfare works very well. I’m really new to the space 4x genre and this game is a fantastic entry point to start learning before going to more complex ones like endless space and galactic civ. I’m enjoying the factions and for an older game it looks good I think. I recommend it if you wanna get into the genre but not be overwhelmed at first

I really enjoy exploring the galaxy, building up my empire, researching new technologies, and managing diplomacy with other civilizations. A good remake of a classic one more turn 4x classic. This version of Master of Orion is worth a play if you liked the originals. I never experience any "processing locks" or any other technical issues.

This game is 10 years old and it's still getting to a certain point, and then getting stuck on "processing turn." It's the reason I stopped playing it after the first time 10 years ago.
