It starts off solid enough, though it's clear that each tiny level is intended to be replayed five to ten times each (which is really uninspired) - until you get to the fact that the hybrid first person turret section's inclusion created a lot of problems when it comes down to regular towers - several towers now require you to awkwardly juggle between these two modes in order to get them to work properly. It is a rare occasion when a mobile game translates well to pc. This is not one of those occasions. This is proabably great on a mobile device when being used as a time=killer. When you are sitting at your pc, you expect a bit more depth. Also, there are NO Steam achievements. The achievements being mentioned in the above picture are in-game.

The overall lack of direction, combined with the shallow and poor design of the actual encounters and gameplay flow, makes it seem like a lackluster title in the tower defense genre, and the cluttered and wonky interface, together with the overall low visual quality, makes Commando Jack an unsatisfying experience.

Commando Jack is a basic tower defense game with obvious mobile roots in the form of over sized, clunky on-screen buttons and built-in monetization. Fortunately, there are a lot of much better tower defense games on Steam.

Game for mobile, crossed over to Steam to put things simply. Not the kind of game you'd play on PC. Could be great on a phone however.
