This game was a bit of a disappointment, you don't even have to look at the recipes, you can just get 2-4 ingredients until you hear the noice of the creature apear and hide in the same spot every time until it disappears. It just becomes the same pattern over and over for every creature.

I got this on sale, and I gotta say...it's a LOT more fun than I was ever expecting. So much so, that I honestly feel bad about only playing $1.29 CAD for this. I'd even go so far as to say it's worth the full 12.99 price, but barely. So the gist of it is you're a kid who is looking for your brother that was kidnapped by these killer anthropomorphic baked goods. To defeat them you need to craft pies to throw at them...

2/10 TL;DR Very tedious, especially in the beginning. Incredibly repetitive. Difficulty depends heavily on the spawn locations of the resources -------------------------------- Cons: Gameplay • Sprinting changes FOV • Headphones are basically a requirement for success otherwise it's really hard to hear the enemies de/spawn • First boss is by far the hardest/most tedious one since you don't have any bags...

The game had a good concept, but the execution... Of the three monsters, the first is the most dangerous. It rushes at lightning speed, and there's no escaping it. The other two monsters are mere dummies, posing absolutely no threat and serving only to prolong the gameplay. This game had potential but it just the same game play loop over and over and gets old fast, after you beat one its just give you more area to go toand get lost in and another monster that is slightly different but not enough to feel new, I would of really loved this game but its just not my type of game a little to repetitive and whenever I think I threw a pie perfectly it clips the wall, plus I dont know if im dumb...

Overall, not a fun game. -Poor lighting. I like the idea, but not the execution. Game loop is too slow and exploitable. Too much walking, too much waiting, sound design too simple. Not being allowed to carry all cakes, not being allowed to reread collected notes. The gameplay of the ending part was quite annoying.

The Ingredients are placed very far apart. There is no way to keep track of the monster. How do you cake a pie without a start button? I am very confused.
