The OG game that started the franchise with improved graphics and gameplay. resident evil is one of those games where the atmosphere does so much of the work. the mansion is creepy in a way that never really lets you relax, and i loved how much of the game is just exploring, figuring things out, and slowly realizing where everything fits together. it’s definitely an older game, but i can see why this one became such a classic
