I went in knowing full well this was an on-rails shooter, and honestly that's the only way to enjoy it. The gameplay itself is fine for what it is, shooting tangos and lobbing grenades in predetermined firefights, though the sun bloom that blinds you at the worst moments gets old fast. First off, let's get the elephant out of the room: this is an on-rails shooter. The developer made no attempts to hide the fact, so if you read a review from someone who is particularly irate about this, they probably lack reading and visual interpretation skills. I always loved that kind of genre - shooter on rails - the house of the dead, and various other arcade machines were my favourite. So what about this one. This game definitely has a lot of problems: -Various camera bugs -Imbalanced enemies won't let you get out of the cover -If you pick up the ammo sometimes you won't change your weapon back from pistol and there is no button to switch weapons -Ingame options tell...

I can understand the negative reviews. People are used to FPS with a free movement, more weapons and more gameplay. I can also understand that you can get bored with the repetitve scenes. And well, it's true that in the easy mode, you have often sunlight in the eyes and being blind to any enemies. Low-budget on-rail shooter, made for the consoles like Wii and PS3 primarily, but adopted for the PC as well.
