CompareThe World of Subways 1 line is going from New York beneath the Hudson-River to Newark. The original route is almost equally split in underground and above ground sections. Coming with excellent graphics this simulator also puts a lot of emphasis on original physics of the train and wagons.

It's ok.... It needs the Expansion Pack, But u can't find it anywhere anymore WOS Vol 1 EXPANSION PACK... PLEASE!!

Despite it's age and the simple graphics, it's still a nice subway simulator. Just note that this is not the New York City Subway, but the PATH, a suburban train from New Jersey to New York, with several underground stations. Good enough for claustrophobic subway feeling nevertheless. If it crashes for you a lot, switch off Steam Overlay, that helped in my case. Works fine on Linux (with Proton) as well.

You can't compare a game that came out 4-5 years ago to a game released this year..that's pretty absurd. Anyways, yes, the game is pretty basic in terms of control. It's a simulator based on simulating one thing, controlling the PATH train. There actually is a career mode, but it's not in the sense of career mode most people are used to. A cool, older train simulator, for enthusiasts. Don't compare it to more modern and/or extensible simulators. This is an alright sim of PATH. It's a bit janky, draw distance is buggy, game is rather unoptimized (although that might be a proton issue), and the announcer is rather distractingly bad, but if you're able to put all the aside, this game ain't too bad. I'm able to put all that aside at least, and I think it's alright. I think I'd get a much better experience if someone finally develops an OpenBVE PATH route, but...

The game doesnt seem to work with Windows 11, The game starts up unlike WOS3 but the graphics are SEVERELY corrupted

I would recommended it if you really wanted something small and good but it was just terrible. The game keeps crashing when I get to Christopher Street Station and I seen people say it crashes when it gets near newark. So I am not even gonna test it because I am on a low-ended laptop. I have great FPS, but just keeps crashing.
