If you can find another word game like this, get that one. Lexica is a minimal viable product in terms of features and presentation, and I couldn't tell you if some of these words are esoteric, non-standard spellings, or just plain fake, but I do know they fall outside of my lexicon. Nevertheless, I found this type of puzzle elsewhere, and good gracious, is it wonderful. Despite my complaints, I'm madly in love....

If you enjoy word games, this is a great one. Medium and difficult levels have some words you haven't heard of before, like chemistry vocabulary. However, still totally doable if you are a word nerd. You can get enough of the rest of the puzzle to take a guess on a word (or look it up). Learning opportunity! My wife and I enjoyed doing all the puzzles. DEFINITELY start with the easy levels though to build up...

Lexica is similar to a crossword puzzle but with a twist. You have letters above, below and to the sides of the puzzle. You then slide those letters into place. Edit: Today, when I went to play, all of my existing puzzles had been wiped as if they had never been touched. While I'm glad that we can now replay puzzles in an attempt to get a better score, they have removed any form of showing where you left off. I love word games, but Lexica is mediocre at best. Firstly, the UI is clunky. You cannot play full screen, and using a mouse is incredibly frustrating, as the game was clearly designed for a touch screen on a mobile phone. Even compared to mobile word games, Lexica feels super bland. There's nothing witty or ingenious about the game, no mechanic that makes it special. You simply slide letters to try to make words....
