I’ve seen a lot of split reviews about this game, and I don’t think the game is as simple as most people describe. Personally, I enjoy the game. It’s a game I’ve come back to quite a few times and always enjoy it when I do play. I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s repetitive with the system of building new cities and trading and repeating a few times. But I don’t think most of the people who play give it enough time...

This is an ancient, 11 year old game from Kalypso with a slew of problems that will never be fixed. Taking the promising concept of a cheap, dumbed down ripoff of Total War: Medieval, Kalypso gave up on this 9 years and 6 months ago, despite knowing there's balance problems and other issues with the game.
