Well, more of the same. Kind of. Still 3-D, controls a little weird and you will have to relearn how to run around and check inventory. But the storyline is good, the puzzles are be solved without looking them up, and the humor is okay. BUT the game is cut into five chapters and the first chapter while fun was short. Did they cut up a full game to make money on five short ones? Only time will tell. As least...

My favorite in the whole Monkey Island series. It captures the original humor perfectly, while telling a story that goes deeper and more heartfelt than any other installment. All while still staying true to the characters.
I love that it takes Elaine and Guybrush's relationship more serious, while still letting it feel like a laugh.

This was the one MI game I missed (mostly because after Escape the 3D graphics gave me PTSD), and... No, just no.
It doesn't feel like a Monkey Island game. The controls are somehow worse than Escape and most puzzles are just not quite there. Not as in "they are too easy/hard", but as in "I randomly shoot a cannon which will somehow do an unexpected thing that solves a puzzle in another area".
Somehow Guybrush and...

Great game, lots of fun puzzles to make you think. This is nostalgia from the early 90s but with modern graphics. the series is totally worth it. I wish they would make a second tales of Monkeys Islands. I miss these types of games.

The first episode is quite good, the other four not so much.
You always carry tons of items that you either don't need or no longer need. The game has tons of locations you can go to even after there is nothing left to do in them. The resulting permutations of items, hot-spots and locations to use together becomes way too high. You'll get stuck eventually and have to use a walkthrough.
The game has a hint system...

Fun and relatively short, even though you can get a bit lost at times.
