great adventure, and so funny..., memorable situation and characters, remarkable to see a classic game far superior to so many recent AAA titles, it is so well written, beautiful art direction and music. At that price, yeah it is a no brainer.

As someone born in 1996 this was one of the first PC games my uncle showed me and even though I had to use all my brain and guides on the internet I LOVED this game and I still do. I'm not such a big fan of the new graphics, but I do wish theres was a way to play it with the old graphic but the voices with it ! I have played many times and I still dont get bored of it. I love you The Secret of Monkey Island !

One of the most iconic point and click adventure games of all time, in an alright remaster. The game is hilarious and still holds up to this day but the animation in the remaster is unchanged, and they just drew on top of the old sprites. This leads to the animation looking incredibly stiff. You can switch back to the original graphics at any time, but you lose the voice acting. I believe this can be restored with...

Simply superb point and click adventure. Phenomenal music and art style with fun and enjoyable voice acting. The puzzles could get a bit out there at times but they have a very well made hint system for such occassions, making sure it does not spoil the entire current objective unless asked for, However, the main highlight of this game has got to be the humour, I was genuinely blown away at how well it held up....

Fantastic! Fond memories of the first in the Monkey Island series. Love that the MI Special Edition still holds up for a routine playthrough in 2026. Would love to see some remakes in the not too distant future for the others that need it. Brand new games are welcome as well!

A classic with great humor. Not a fan of the graphics of this remake, but there is a toggle to seamlessly switch to the retro graphics which still look as charming as ever..

(Finished on another platform) Probably the biggest classic in the point & click adventure genre, you should play this and its sequel, followed by Curse of Monkey Island which is my personal favourite.
