This game is so much fun. Imagine Halls of Torment in a small arena, more visceral combat, no "stash management," more focus on getting your build online vs. pure swarm navigation. This is a very good game with a very good build system. I really like the way the skills are not tied to your equipped but weapon but tied to your Class and Origin. Very fun. Highly recommend.

This game is actually really deep stats wise and meta-upgrades wise. If you're looking for something straight forward, stick to "lighter" survivor like games, there's plenty. So far, I've only played an hour but this game is very entertaining. The developer has definitely invested their time into the right areas of the game; whilst some areas are a little incomplete (eg tutorialising) the core gameplay loop has obviously undergone a lot of refinement to create an addicting experience. It's like they took Conan in a Valheim aesthetic and used Diablo (min/max builds) for this amalgamation of a refreshing survivors-like game. The gameplay is repetitive, but if you've played a survivors/synergy game before, then you will know this is for a special type of autism for those that wanna focus on said builds and not all the lore and open-worldness. Surprisingly good game. Thought it would be a joyless Vampire Survivors clone, but it has enough identity and complexity to hold its own.
