The plot was goofy as hell, the ending gave me ick on levels plural, and a couple of the minigames got skipped because I had no idea what the game wanted. But I wasn't here for those things. I wanted to find hidden objects and brother, I found some hidden objects. All of them, in fact. That itch was scratched and for that, I recommend this game. Just keep in mind that you're gonna have a weird time.

Alchemy Mysteries: Prague Legends is an atmospheric hidden-object adventure with a fascinating gothic setting. Alchemy Mysteries: Prague Legends is a cheap puzzle game. Its far from the best in this category but its very enjoable. The game include hidden object scenes, mini games, nothing special you not seen in other HoGs. The story had potential but it not turned to be great. I finally managed to complete this game, each time I was so bored I fell asleep. Not because the game was terrible, but because they designed it in such a way that there's no way you would be able to complete it without consulting some form of guide, map or hint system. I think it's ok however don't expect too much. Story is rather mediocre - nothing you would be thinking over after completing the game. Art style is good but resolution of the game is rather low so you might encounter some pixelization (it didn't bother me that much). Puzzles are quite logical with some few exceptions. If you expect this to be the best hidden object game that you've ever played you'll probably be disappointed, but if you have purchased this game on sale for under a quid and you have expectations around that same price, the games alright. Way way way too much counter intuitive backtracking. That suitcase that was empty - surprise it now has the item you need. You need three coins - can you recall every prior scene that could be relevant as to where to get one - no, me neither. So I either backtrack to every scene or click hint. I tried to play it like a 'detective' but all the backtracking become a nuissance, by mid game I was just clikcing...

This is one of the worst hidden object games I have ever played. It has a couple good things going for it, but the negatives easily outweigh any positives. PROS - Creepy at times. - A few (but not an annoying amount of) "jumpscares". CONS - Unbalanced. It is a hidden object game with an interesting mechanic that you don’t really see often - you sometimes have to use items from your inventory on hidden object scenes. But that is about the one good thing I can say about it. On the bad side of things I found the game confusing, the voice acting is extremely loud even if you have all the volume sliders in the settings all the way down and the game is in a weird 3D-ish...
