Was pretty fun back in the day for the short time I was able to play, seemed pretty realistic too. Steep learning curve I never totally conquered but I was learning it as I played. This still seems pretty much the same, I just haven't had the patience to relearn as of yet though, impressed it's playable! Very immersive and nice atmosphere too.

This product has now been completely made outmoded by its redux edition. With that said, players can expect to immediately face the torturous control scheme, where it is a feat in its own to lift off the ground and an almost Sisyphean task to land without crashing. I suggest a quick look at the date released and expect it in graphics.....That being said there are just not many games out here even today that seemed to get all the pieces right as this game has. Tough learning curve with an insane attention to historical detail. I do not know how I missed this game all of these years.

Don't pay attention to my playtime, it only counts time in the launcher Great game although old. These sorts of games no longer exist. It resembles Silent Hunter Sub sim with crew managment although if you wish it can also be a hard-core B-17 simulator, down to starting up each individual engine ( the flight physics aren't the most detailed). Bombed a target of opportunity which turned out to be the Nijmegen railway bridge. Got court martialled when I got home for hindering the war effort. 11/10.... would blunderingly undermine the war effort again

Absolutely loved this game back in the day. Unfortunately, there are just too many technical incompatibilities between the program and Windows 10. - Despite a couple posts indicating support for higher resolutions, I could not make it work, and I'm pretty tech savvy. love the game never played it before until now, great to play more of a crew managment game than a actual shooter. can be tricky if you up the realism but well worth the money highly recommend it to anyone

16th mission in, flak damaged my b17, missed the target, get attacked by what seems to be the entire luftwaffle, tail gunner gets shot and dies, barely makes it home, get diagnosed with ptsd, 10/10, would do again

While I dislike this game I'm giving it a thumbs up since it's great. It's horribly outdated, has terrible controls, painful UI, and tough learning curve - because of what I just mentioned. Still it's the only game in it's genre, and it's the best at it if you've got patience. This game needs a modern remake. Preferrably VR.
