Having played the first game not too long ago I feel like most of what I said about that one applies to this game as well. It's horny about the gore but the gunplay is oh so very good. Notably the game crashes far less, in fact the only issue I encountered in my playtime was in the 2nd to last chapter had one of the melee enemies at the start of a stage become invincible for some reason. Probably the best gunplay and gameplay I've ever seen. All the art and story was amazing. The Martyr is also one of the baddest characters of all time.

its alright i guess games like theses makes me wish steam had a neutral choice but its more to the liking side then disliking. for the first few hours i was having a ton of fun but then the game started to feel boring and started to feel more gimmicky. theres alot of clashs with features and felt like they where added on last minute. the hook is the biggest example. the levels are to simple too its nothing to rave...

Dev really made many of the issues of previous game disappear. A lot of QoL changes. Tactical reloading is impressive like in the first game and there are settings to customize it if you wanna. Gunplay is great. Many weapons. Great art and fun story. Beautiful gameplay, beautiful lore, beautiful character, rarely enjoy a single player game in decade and this wake me up of how truly is a simple FPS game can be a masterpiece.

Fun retro shooter but with 2d women Played it on hard but peeking from behind walls makes most enemies easy to kill and the game doesn't force you into any open spaces with many enemies aside from mortar/sniper maps and the semifinal boss. I play on linux and some of the later levels performed poorly compared to the previous maps Overall fun but might leave some people wanting more

The sound mixing could use a lot of work. Otherwise, gunplay is solid. The reload system works despite how complicated it can be during combat, and it is satisfying when it clicks. The story is great. Especially if you are well-versed in Christian theology. Overall, a great game

After completing The Citadel I jumped straight into Beyond Citadel and I'm happy to say I enjoyed Beyond just as much as the first. The gunplay is nice with more options this time around and that can also be said for the enemy variety, I even had to find out which guns are best suited for which enemies. Story is interesting but ending is a bit lackluster. Also glad to report I didn't experience a single game crash...
