Controls are a bit iffy, but overall an amazing little puzzle game. Puzzles are challenging but fun. Most puzzles require quite some intricate planning to solve in the end, but you can easily go around, try out things and save partial solutions to work on later / try a different route. Wow. Diabolically difficult puzzler. Your little grey cells will be tested to the max from the very beginning of the game. Escaping is not so hard.... but collecting those bonus starfish certainly is. You MUST use both fish as a team to achieve your goals and be ready to think way outside the box here. An excellent sequel to the legendary Fish Fillets. It offers a proper logical challenge on a reasonable curve. You quickly get obsessed with solving the rooms and collecting bonus stars that can raise the difficulty incredibly high. Compared to the original Fish Fillets, the humour got somewhat tuned down, the rooms are more uneventful (no more talking heads and dancing crabs) and the game is generally less silly....

Fish Fillets 2 is a casual, voice-acted puzzle game that imitates story elements from the TV series, X Files. Great puzzle game that deserves way more attention! This is a Sokoban-style puzzle game, except that it is a side-scroller, but since your main characters are fish in water, you can move freely in all four directions just like in classic Sokoban, with the twist being that (most) blocks sink, and can kill (most) characters if they fall onto them. Shockingly difficult game despite its exterior, will have even the most efficient puzzle fans (which I am very much not) scratching your head for dozens of hours. I believe my 11 hours of play at the time of review have gotten me maybe 10% through this game, with only more complicated puzzles to come. Every puzzle here is a combination lock, a total domino chain of many tiny revolutions in thought.

Unusual puzzle game with fish. Some crime story is going on in the meantime. Expect lots of comments and dialogs while playing, some are funny some are not. Puzzle consists mostly of pushing objects while trying not to squeeze characters. Switch between big fish and small and get the job done. Not the worst mind bender.
