It's a very hectic sidescrolling shooter in the vein of Metal Slug, except its levels are procedurally generated - so there's a new challenge every time you play it. Giant bosses, lots of explosions, fast pace, it's all here with a pinch of funny action movie references. Good fun!

It's lacking for a Shootem Up. Game is too easy but on the flip side, feel like its unfair at the same time. The game lacks impact, lacks any sort of excitement like in Metal Slug 3 or Broforce. I haven't put much game time into Gunslugs 2 yet on Steam, but have played a fair bit on my iPad. Gunslugs 2 is a great little run and gun that includes a variety of modes and daily challenges. Initial impressions - nice "Retro" feel to it, coupled with Metal Slug gameplay. Some of the additional elements are nice. One of my nit picks is likely the camera, as it's hard to see the enemies on the far right until you move to far and they inevitable hit you. Also enemies seem to employ a "magnet" attack line, being they hover over ladders if you are on one and so on. Otherwise, a nice game for 5 bucks that is...
