A light recommend. The game is pretty good, but can be a little too obtuse at times as far as knowing where to go, or later, how to get there (lots of hidden walls). Once you get a few movement upgrades its a lot more fun. Gorgeous graphics, wonderful soundtrack, reminds me of a Metroid game. A few bosses were super tough with slightly long run backs but the end was a little bit of a let down as far as "final boss"....

It's Temu Metroid. Nothing Vania about it lol. But seriously, it is a Metroid clone. But don't let that be a bad thing. It plays almost identical to Metroid, but where it departs in similarity is the slow, sombre nature of this game. It is not fast-paced by any means. It actually does you good to be patient during combat. And the easy ambient soundtrack makes for great bedtime music. If you want a "relaxing" Metroid...

Im not a fan of this type of game, but i loved this one. The movement is a little clunky but man is this game pretty and the ending hit me in the feels I grew to love Little Blue

I like the old school 2D Metroid style of atmosphere and gameplay even if I am not a diehard fan who has played every metroid, and a modernized version of metroid sounds really cool. Love it or hate it- there's jank and a little bit of a learning curve, with some hard difficulty sprinkled in here and there.
