A short arcade shooter for those who miss Pang! and its clones. Fun to play in coop. The glitch at the very end of the game when I finally defeated the last wave making me fail the mission made me rage quit the game. The rest of the game was fun, though.

Addicting, wave-based pulse rifle action. The Bug Butcher is a simple game, and what you see from the screenshots and trailer is exactly what you'll get. I blasted through the game in seven hours and enjoyed all of it, but probably wouldn't return for an extended session of mowing down bugs with laser gatlings. Summary: Even in this time of indie games reviving game genres of old, the Pang genre hasn't exactly gotten a plethora of games. The game does what it says. Run back and forth beneath bouncing targets, without getting hit. Gameplay strongly encourages level-replays to get upgrades. The gameplay is super repetitive (only a third of owners got the "kill 1000 enemies,") but there is a demo to try over and over.
