Bloodwood Reload is a great idea done incredibly poorly. We play as Frank. Frank is a forestry expert sent to a village in Europe where all the trees around the village run with blood. I tried, and I completely failed. The controls are so floppy, I can barely click on anything. Everyone I speak to is busy and doesn't care that I want to know what to do. I'm blindingly going into this thing, so I pick up a crowbar and stare at some hay and unopenable doors. Probably needs some guidance in there somewhere. I felt completely lost, and I really wasn't intrigued, just frustrated. Sorry! :(

I downloaded this expecting it to be a completely broken game where there was nothing to do except explore a potentially creepy setting and play with the non-threatening glitches (I especially looked forward to getting stuck in a ceiling, falling into a lake, and going to the edge of the map from other people's reviews), both of which I like to do. I had naively high hopes for this game, but I'm sorry to say that I was extremely disappointed. Mechanics are janky, no clear objective, NCPs are pointless, even after your character is specifically told to go and speak to one. No choices to further the story, nor anything to explore, including the woods, which is odd because that's the premise of the game--we're there for what's happening with the trees. Only...

Graphic-wise, it's good. The story was intriguing. But the controls are sometimes wonky. Though I spend nearly 30mins wondering around because I got lost and didnt know what to do. I found some bugs like you can move through walls in the barn, got stuck in the Inn ceiling because I jumped while walking up the stairs and I somehow fell into the lake. Overall it was a 6/10 for me. Could have done better IMO.

Absolutely terrible. It physically hurt me to play this game. Pros .........
