This is a fun little free to play title available here on Steam. Essentially, you are a developer hired to write script (IIRC) for a game. A short and small free game. A nice low budget project. 4 Mini Games (Heart Attack, Jumping Tests, MLP 3 Horses Riddles, A Horse Run. For a low budget game that get no money its for some minutes interesting to play. Sure its no master piece but its nice so get the way to Minigame Nr. 4 trough the window and then get access to game nr. 5. It has so many positiv reviews for a reason. I have quite a handful of indie games in my library, so I have a bit of a soft spot for them one might say. This game highlights the experiences, struggles, and even stereotypes that seemingly come along with the indie game development community. It's free, so you truly can't go wrong, but I think most people will really enjoy the hour or so of gameplay that they get out of this.

Dev Guy was mildly entertaining, but ultimately a shallow, forgettable experience. It has some passably fun minigames, and a wee bit of enjoyable humor (the heartbeat minigame was both), but also a fair amount of cringiness between the dialogue with the anime "babe" and the Brony content. I think it says a lot about a game when it has multiple grammar/spelling errors in its final state. Maybe I'd be a little less...

After reading so many positive reviews for this game I thought I'd love it as I gained an entertaining and heartfelt insight into the struggle of creating something in such a difficult and heavily scrutinised medium.
