A 'casual' platformer with imprecise controls and horrible 'physics'. Helps a bit that the presentation is acceptable, but the game itself is subpar at best. Nothing to write home about and you can play games like this for free on various flash game sites. Don't waste any money on this one.

After seeing the art style, and funny intro, I was optimistic. However, the gameplay failed to grip me. The controls don't feel good, and considering this game is a platformer, that's pretty important. The gameplay gets repetitive quite quickly. You can collect costumes which is quite fun, as well as multiple collectibles. Apart from that though, there actually isn't much more I can say about it.

The game had so many positive reviews, but I seriously doubt that they are "real reviews" because it is really a boring and simple game. I've always thought that I could trust the reviewing system on Steam, but this proves that I must be more careful in the future.

As a sequel to the mobile game version, this game was pretty meh. The cartoonish visuals, and comical text effects like "Boom" and "Pow" is very suitable for the action and humour the game has. Well, this is a hard one. On one side, i had some funny hours with this game. On the other side, there is nothing in this game that would make it recommendable in it's actual state. Right now there are 30 levels in the game. Most of them are easy. Really easy. Nearly all times i completed all three challenges (coins, time and no deaths) in two or three runs. Commander Cool 2 feels like a great Platformer and also has Coop which is a great bonus! Commander Cool 2 has some charming features, such as the artwork, music, and some of the enemies. Unfortunately, that's about where my praise ends. The controls are quite literally floaty as the character moves and jumps at the same speed whether going up or down.
