A fairly simple game that is also very thought provoking. With a setting so low stakes it really does amplify the questions that are asked. The art style and music create a homely but uncomfortable feeling that brings everything together.

For me personally, this game is a great reminder that instead of funneling all of your thoughts on every single thing in the world under the le sadness sauce in an unformatted manner, you should try actually make a solid, coherent work that doesn't feel like a disjointed array of essays that vary in quality and juvenility. Yup, this is art alright. Made me feel things, be thoughtful, and expand horizons. It's like a buck and like 3 hours if doddling, both of which are worth it

Very Scottish. I'm not saying we're all generally melancholy or morbid, but there's something about the way we process grief that is quite well-articulated here. There's a sincerity to it, too - I miss the Scottish countryside, but I'm also glad I no longer live there.
