The Game is boring. The other characters I got were marines who were both the same and somehow better designed than the main character in terms of abilities. Level 3 shark fight is mader very hard on purpose as it wants you to grind the level 2 until you get at least 500 money. The quests are just constant repeats of themsevles for the start making me not even play the rest of the game. Also the music and games humor...

The only problem about this game is... They are not selling the OST, and it can't be found in the game folder. The Music of this game is a Masterpiece, everyone should listen to it :D

C. Kane is an... interesting game to review. From a gameplay standpoint, the game stands. The RPG mechanics are clear, present, your party is small and every character has a decent amount of strengths and weaknesses (except Leland, who has no weakness), and the bosses have some interesting gimmicks at times. It's challenging, but never too insanely difficult -- I think I died once in the entire game while fighting...

It's a game where you play as Charles Kane. Hence, it's the Citizen Kane of videogames by virtue of being a videogame based on Citizen Kane. That's the joke. However, even though this is a blatantly flippant joke game, it's tightly designed to achieve what it sets out to do without overstaying its welcome. A classic rpg style game, loved the soundtrack, even if it could have a better loop to avoid becoming repetitive. The story is fun, though there were some parts where the jokes felt overdone or seemed out of place, loved the references, but it should have stayed in the names and not manifest in the physical way, like rosebud showing up in the attack animation. After the success of "undertale", seems to be a run of 'satirical rpgs'. Maybe some of the jokes are going over my head but C. Kane just isn't doing it for me. Felt like a bunch of fetch quests jammed into a tiny map. No gamepad support is a rather big downside and while the soundtrack is quite well done, loops far too much and just became annoying not amusing.
