Stranded In Time

The dialogue in "Stranded in Time" is very awkward and was clearly not checked by a native English speaker. There are two separate hint systems and also a journal which you need to keep clicking between to be reminded of your quest. Stranded in Time is an extremely beginner friendly point and click adventure game. Games made available as a mobile port and uploaded to Steam are usually a red flag for me. That being said, this game has ticked all the correct boxes. Relaxing music, cute art style and menu options fully customised to PC make it a fun unwinding experience. A non particularly great point and click game. The inventory UI is pretty bad as you won't be able to reverse out of a scene with it open and it sometimes won't tell you what is the item you got it in. Linux version of the game insists on starting on the wrong (leftmost instead of main) monitor and it can get really laggy for no reason. There is way better games out there to play instead.

The puzzles in Stranded in Time were all pretty good! It was pretty fun. You need to read properly and make sure you are looking carefully at your screen when playing cause you might miss something and it's gonna take some time to find the items back. Very old game, but it's not even as bad as some reviews say. I paid 20 cents, a really paltry expense for a point and click. 6/10 is enough for me. Still playable.
