CompareA dark/sad/weird/funny first person exploration game. You play a man on his last night alive as he obsesses over a mysterious painting. More of a story game in that it emphasizes mood and character over gameplay. Takes ten minutes to play and has "next-gen" features like a shrimp tank.

The attention to detail in insane, the atmosphere is terrifying. There's a constant feeling that something will jump at you, but nothing ever happens. It's so short and shocking, left me with the "was that it" feeling, yet it perfectly fits into the story. Truly a bizarre experience.

This was NOT a funny exploration game. Dark, sad and weird sure. It is very short and I replayed it three times because each time I was scared that there would be jumpscares and ended up leaving mid-game only to start over a minute later. There were no jumpscares, but the background music and the whole atmosphere were very creepy, diving into a mentally unstable man's final moments, surrounded by obsession. It was...

Trigger Warning: Heavy psychological themes incl. mental health crisis I noticed all the positive reviews and really got curious to play this game myself, and well..that was truly a bizarre 20 minutes of my life. There is no explanation for anything, but the atmosphere simply carries it all. To me, this game is definitely art. "the static speaks my name" manages to capture deep and all-consuming human feelings...

A disturbing but powerful look at depression and emotional detachment. The mundane tasks, like cleaning and browsing, feel almost absurd when you consider what is happening beneath the surface. That disconnect is what makes the game so unsettling and surprisingly relatable for some people.
