I have no idea how so many people can play this for hours upon hours. It's an incredibly simple & basic arcade game that is... fun, for some, I guess, for 10 minutes.

What is to Timber? Over the last decade 30 million players including myself have had the pleasure of joining Mr. Timber on his journey atop the tree. Generations to come, will discover this masterpiece of a game, and understand that the legacy of Timberman is eternal, one that will never be eclipsed. And that is why you must Timber with Timberman.

Perfect little time-waster that runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck. The core loop of chopping wood and dodging branches is addictive for about twenty minutes at a time. It’s wonderfully simple, though it definitely gets repetitive pretty fast. Good for a quick arcade fix when you're waiting for something else to download.

Responsive controls and quick matches create a satisfying pick up and play experience. The gameplay rewards precision and fast decision making as the pace steadily increases. Every attempt feels like another opportunity to set a new personal best. Simple mechanics are backed by an addictive score chasing loop.

This game is the peak of humanity, not only do you get to chop logs on the left, you can chop them on the right too! Is that not just crazy? Such innovation deserves to be praised heavily. On a serious note though, I have never once been able to get into a multiplayer game, but other than that this game is absolutely amazing, every person on the world deserves a copy.
