Patch 3.2 for Turok is now live on all platforms, and includes the following hotfixes: • When loading a game, the remainingKeys is now correct. • Fixed the spawning warp portals not returning the player to the last map in the right direction. • Fixed the catacomb water that drains not being set to the correct initial position when the map begins. • Minor model geometry fixes.

Hands down a great port of a childhood game. Loved it on the N64 and being able to relive it again brings strong nostalgia even keeping things like the view distance fog the N64 had. They even added cut content Brachiosaurus’ in the levels which couldn’t be done on the original cartridge

It's fine. It's a good shooter. Just. Maps are... Hell. A confusing mess of hallways and rooms. Key hunting is awful. And sometimes you have to replay one of those horrible maps to get a key you missed... But game is charming and good. Music rocks too. I can see why it's a classic for some folks. I enjoyed it, but I can see its flaws.

its turok time baby sidenote: the treasure hunter achievement broke on me so i had to reunlock all my achievements after using reset_all_stats in the steam console :(

TL:DR not just a nostalgia buy, genuinely peak gaming and that is coming from me who couldn't even do skyrim a couple years ago because it just felt liek I missed the boat on it timing wise, having not played it withing 10 years of the launch. Even if it is not on sale it is actually totally worht the $28 or whatever, which I wasn't really that keen on paying just for a nostalgia buy I might not even play much, but...

One of the best N64 classics, featuring an impeccable remaster and modernized gameplay. This game is a gem; if you weren't around to enjoy it back in the day, now is a fantastic opportunity to do so. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended—it has aged beautifully.

* sigh * Listen. You could sit here reading super in-depth reviews for an almost 30 year-old game. Oooorrrr... You could spend that time playing Turok with mouse aiming. Which is, if I'm being honest, a better way to spend your time than most other things. Only other thing I can say is that the game both runs and looks better with most of the new-fangled graphics options turned off. Now go play some Turok.

Be me, 5 years old. Parents get you a 64 for Christmas. It’s amazing. Only 2 games with the console: Turok and GoldenEye. Try to play Turok. The game is terrifying for a 5-year-old. Your hands are too small. Dinosaurs, aliens, bugs, crazy dudes that make creepy sounds when they die, giant green monsters that destroy the ground to kill you... Get so scared every time you try to play. You never make it past level 2 or...

If you've played classics like doom and quake and want to try more fps from the era this is a solid choice and exceeded my expectations
