I have fond memories of this game. Whats there is good. But, it has been abandoned for years. There is a mod out there that fixed the majority of the bugs, but this game will never be finished.. Also what on earth does Steam mean with "Note: The developers have not communicated any updates for over a year. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date.", its been waay...

Buyer beware. This game is NOT Early Access in any shape or form. Do not buy this game expecting there will be many improvements/features to come because it is EA, it simply is not. The game is playable (Windows only) but has many frustrating usability issues, but if you can see past these as it currently stands it might be worth a buy. I like this game - it has the makings of a great game and is already fun to play BUT The Dev has gone AWOL and nothing has happened with it since it was released to Steam. IIRC it is a pair of volunteers who are doing the coding now whilst the Dev is in hiding. Unless development starts to pick up again, stay away

The game has great potential and is fun (as much fun as a half finished game can be) and probably (could maybe be) worth the $12 he is asking.. BUT, since steam EA launch there has been no update or information from the creator. He has not even logged into his own forums for almost 6 months. I have bought nearly every worth while city building game, simulator, and God game on steam and NOT one of them has held my attention for more than a day or so... I can't stop playing this game, I've literally sat in offline mode hiding from the world playing this game for the last several days. You've made me completely neglect Destiny and forget that the League of Legends Championship is even a thing right now....

Timber and Stone, in short, is a great but slow game. Guide your settlers in the steps it takes to build your castle/town/underground refuge/etc. The game is a balancing act between harvesting resources, training soldiers, and building your defenses. This game had a lot of potential and could have become a great game, but sadly again this game was abandoned by the developer. Games like these still being on Steam with no chance of ever being completed show developers they can just throw something out never finish it and still make money. Wish steam would Remove abandoned games and give people refunds.
