Several Visual C++ errors causing you to do a hard shut down of the game and reboot to proceed. Poor programing, certainly not worth the money.

I don't even know when or why I bought this, and I'm upset with my past self that I presumably spent money on this. Rough art, bad hit detection, obscure objects that essentially require the hint system to progress without spam clicking. Short version: 31% Contract with the Devil has beautiful graphics and an interesting plot, but the atrocious writing, tedious progression, and bad hit detection pretty much ruin it as a hidden object game. A hidden object game that looks decent, but is a real chore to play. The presentation is okay. The graphics look nice, the animations aren't really good and the sounds are odd at times. Nice HOS game. I don't understand why so many bad reviews. I found HO scenes well done, objects are wisely implemented in the scenes. In addition there are "Pairs HOS", where you're supposed to match items. Sometimes it's a bit twisted but it's more dynamic than classic HOS. Puzzles are OK, ranging from easy to medium. Story is sub-par, animations are long and interrupt the gameplay, can even make you skip a correct object and think you made a mistake if you click during the "yay you clicked the right object and will disappear now" animation for the previous one, some mini-games are decently hard, but all in all it's an OK HOPA for what you'd expect.
