Rapture is still one of the coolest settings in gaming. Great atmosphere, memorable story, fun powers, and a lot of little details that make the world feel alive. The remaster has a few rough edges, but the game itself is absolutely worth playing. 9/10

one of the first games ive ever played on the xbox 360, and since then ive been absolutely devoted to this game and franchise, so its kind of been tradition that i playthrough this game atleast once a year. tho nostalgia aside its a really good game the combat is fun to experiment with and the story and world of rapture is really interesting.

Played this 10 years back and dropped it after a few hours, but decided to replay because I think I wasn't being fair with the criticism I had back then. I was right, this is an incredible game, even to this day it plays phenomenally with no mods needed or tweaks

I am putting this comment down not because I hate Bioshock. I love it to no ends. The remaster however lacks many environmental artistic choices that the original thrived on. I do not suggest playing this, but the original. Sadly to unlock steam backgrounds that are Bioshock themed, you are required to play the remastered one for 2 hours. Don't get me wrong Bioshock is one of the best games ever made, but the Remastered is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unplayable on PC literally crashes randomly and makes you loose 1 hour of progress, this has to be one of the worst Remastereds ever. Not to even mention the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ textures and bugged ui.
