Hello everyone, founds a few bugs with version 1.1.24, so this is a quick fix. We'll do another update for some of the missing icons. V1.1.25 -New balance of blocks should be available. Let us know how it works. all the best

Be warned that this game has a lot of great potential, but it doesn't seem finished to me. The last patch was a long time ago, and I don't think the original developer is returning to update anything in it soon. This is a Sandbox game that tries to convey a story about building structures in balance with nature, and what happens when this balance is disrespected. The story is just okay. Some aspects are a big cringe...

Could not save game in story mode requiring complete restart of game. As others, game feels unfinished and unpolished.

I liked this a lot - the gameplay and visual design are brilliant. It genuinely feels creative and innovative, and chimes with my personal values around the environment. However, it's fair to say it feels unfinished in places and like it's full potential might not have been reached. I would still recommend it though.

There's a lot about Block'hood that I want to like. City builders, resource management, production chains, and tile placement puzzles are all some of my favorite things when it comes to games, and good city builders or tycoon-style games are so rare these days. A promising game that, unfortunately, seems to have been abandoned. There has been no activity from the developers in many months, and the existing game feels incomplete. If you're curious, look at the stickied forum post with their Trello roadmap. More a work of art than a video game, Blockhood quickly loses its charm. You'd imagine the gameplay to be based upon "reaching ballance", you know, carefully managing growth, production & pollution. For a 3 dimensional city builder; the game is remarkably devoid of depth. It's very pretty, but as a simulation or a strategy game, Block'hood falls flat where it matters. I love city builders. Blockhood is a unique, challenging, innovative, and slightly boring game. Sim builders who want a challenge will enjoy. Alpha bugs are expected and found. I like this game. It's aesthetically pleasing and very chill. There is a resource management system in place, but the only consequence to it appears to be that if you don't have enough of a resource in the pool for a given block, it'll decay until it stops producing. It's a shame, because minimizing pollution could have been a neat goal! More of the challenge to the game (as far as I see it) is managing space access...
