While not as fast-paced or chaotic as Pac-Man CEDX+, this game still has its charm. It's a lot more lax compared to CEDX+. If you want a more casual, less hectic Pac-Man Championship Edition game, this one would probably be for you. Otherwise I'd recommend CEDX+

What a complete and utter downgrade from the first game in EVERY aspect. The terrible gaudy visual effects are one thing, the lackluster customization that lacks ALL of the legacy references from the first game (pac man arrangement 1996 my beloved) is another. The real problem with this game is EVERY change they made to the actual moment-to-moment gameplay, and all of the problems build on each other to make the game...

Rating 7/10 Intro Only reason I have this, is because I got it for free at some point. So, I can't argue as to whether or not it's a downgrade from the first game, which others seem to echo. As for how it stands on its own, it's quite good. It basically does what a good modern interpretation of an old classic should do, reimagine it with new mechanics and aesthetics. I don't know what I was expecting. It's Pac-Man, but braindead and on steroids. Everything is locked to start with and you are forced through a dozen tutorial levels that feel like getting gold stars for eating paint in kindergarten before you can do anything else. Then you unlock score attack levels and have to beat a dozen or so of those to unlock Adventure mode, which is what I wanted to play to begin with. Except...

Better than I expected. I like the addition of bombs, ghost "trains" and teleports :) Worth trying if you already have it in your library.
