The story follows lawyer Regeria, who defends her client in court, who is accused of poisoning his wife. Moreover, her longtime rival from the Academy is also on the prosecution's side. Whether our heroine wins this case or not depends on her future career. The story is written with a generous dose of banter and humor.

OK, as I'm sure anyone looking at my name and avatar can tell, I'm a massive fan of the Ace Attorney games. I love everything about them, and this is a huge step away from the actual series they mean to emulate. I won't talk about the case itself TOO much after this point. To put my opinion on it simply, it's decent. Very nice to actually look over, but there are a lot of issues with it in terms of logical thinking....

Good premise but very flawed execution This is sort of like an interactive visual novel where you play Regeria Hope, a rookie lawyer, who has to help defend her client, Brock. Being a fan of Ace Attorney for a very long time and owning all the games, I just had to play this one. Regeria Hope is a very well presented and well writen VN. Loved the artwork and the humor. I'm really confused as to why this game is getting the massive popular reception it really doesn't deserve. That's what prompted me to ignore warnings of friends and play the game myself... and I'm certainly not satisfied.
