Would you like a quick summary of this game? Okay, then let's put it this way. "Lionessy Story?" That's a terrible name for a game because what the holy heck is a lionessy supposed to be? It is unigue game where you play as lion and live with your family. Art is ok and music ok too. Even if it looks like Lion King it is not really for kids. Story is surprising sad. It is really too violent and pointless. Dissapointing because I wanted to like this. Game is also very short and is over in hour and rest of time is just waiting for cards.

Game is unfinished. Even endgame credits are not done. Game-play duration is around 1 hour so technically you can finish it before refund time run-out. It feels more like short demo than full game. For those who decided to play the game anyway: your first (and the last) choice in the game makes no difference. Its not a bug, game actually ends here. gg.

This VN is no more than a "Lion King" fanfic adapted in a kinetic novel as there is only one choice offered at the end and leads to the exact same ending. The story follows a lioness and her three cubs as they first join the pride then are forced to leave as a new challenger takes the lead. This game is sick. If you like reading and watching animals be tortured and murdered in excruciating detail, this is for you. This may very well be one of the worst things in my entire game library, and that is saying a LOT. I hate it here, thanks.

Full disclosure, I did not expect a year-old code I found in a Reddit thread to actually be redeemable. If you want to experience this game without spending money on it, the creators generously and publicly dumped a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of codes that you can easily find by Googling "Lionessy Story". This could be an interesting project which could teach you about harsh live in savannah. Something like "Lion King - the visual novel" except more realistic. Unfortunately the game is unfinished, with close to zero replayability and possible choices given to you. Also will put you in a grim mood as an extra. Don't waste your money on this.

Couldn't be bothered to write much of a review such as the developer couldn't be bothered to develop a story which is why they took the easy way out and just quit!!! Even if they made it look like you had a choice to decide what direction the story would go giving you two choices sadly this was a sick joke!!! both reveal the same out come with a really unsettling descriptive death of the remaining character .
