I don't understand how this can be free. Surely it must have cost a lot to make? Anyway, it's a 15 minute experience where you get to make a single decision and then shoot some drones. I can't imagine anyone playing it twice as there's a lot of talking. It's still an experience I'd definitely recommend, as long as it's free.

Short and sweet, this beautifully detailed experience makes good use of a larger 2.5m x 2.5m play area. I was surprised how present and vivid the actors seemed. I hope to see more like this. Would definitely recommend for all ages of VR enthusiasts.

If an application can consistently drop frames on a rig that Valve rates as an 11 for VR Readiness, it probably needs a bit more technical work. That said, it's free.

I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers and had zero issues. You do need roomscale setup. The visuals I thought were very nice. This "demo" / "ad" had more story than most VR titles. If you're a fan of the Divergent series you should probably give this a try, otherwise, just pass it by. Pros: • It's free • If you're a fan of the series I'm sure it's really cool to be in that universe. • Same voice actors as the movies. • The shooting is fun. • When talking to a character, they will actually look at you. I can see why it is free. Although conceptually I think this micro game is very promising, it does suffer from phenomenally low frame rate issues. Not that I have many VR games so far, but to encounted minutes of consistent glitches of up to 1 second hickups would be reason enough to immediately return the game. "The Divergent Series: Allegiant VR" is barely a game (but you do get to make a decision and shoot some stuff so I guess it scrapes in). It's a VR exclusive advertisement for the somewhat underwhelming film "Divergent" from last decade. And since this is from last decade, too, it looks pretty dated. Great facial capturing which can be explored in the post credits. Very short intro if anything with limited badly controlled interactive segment. Only worth it if you like the films. Crashed twice when trying to play through a 2nd time and was abandoned.
